Love the personal touches. The staff were friendly, very helpful and accommodating, the rooms were spotlessly clean and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The rooms are spacious & comfortable with a nice garden or lake outlook. Absolute value for money with the added touches of luxury we were not expecting. Maximum of 20 people in very spaced out and expansive restaurant, and room service is available should people wish to avoid the restaurant. However this part of Australia has the beautiful rich dark red soils which would be hard to keep at bay, no wonder it is the centre of the wine growing district. Beautiful views, well-maintained gardens and a peaceful setting. All dishes will involve basic techniques that can be used in many other recipes. It has beautiful facilities, the dinner at the restaurant is simply wonderful.
It's expensive so it's for special occasions, and better without young children, but really worth it!
