I had seen this movie before but I was glad to be able to get it on DVD, worth while the price and also I have put this movie amazing night my DVD collections. De'Andre Alfred is credited in the film for his role of "Noo-Noo Gathers". I didn't get to use this product at all because it was delivered broken both times and neither disc played properly. Hank and Bo are not really played much with the USC team, and head to Loyola Marymount, where the two became college sensations. Considering the film had a small budget it turned out very well.

Hank Gathers was a young, gifted athlete who, through hard work, perserverence and support, was able to achieve great success at a very young age. Based on a true story of Hank Gathers, a basketball player from Loyola Marymount who collapsed and died during a game. Director, Chuck Braverman took considerable effort to show Hank Gathers in a true light.Knowing the information I had on Gathers from his California days at USC and Loyola, I thought Braverman did a very good job.

A sad story in one sense, but thoroughly inspirational in every way.

Considering the film had a small budget it turned out very well. We were able to watch this well-done film with our two young daughters and enjoy (and learn from) its inspiring, but sad message. It was a sad finish to Gathers who had really found himself and would have had a fine career in the NBA and would have provided financial security for his son in Philadelphia.Keep track of everything you watch; tell your friends.
