We stayed on the trail and didn’t get near anything weird! Mountain biking is permitted on established trails. The trail is primarily used for walking and running and is accessible year-round. we were warned of an increase of small rattlesnakes but we did not see or hear any. Patrons can bring self-contained gas barbecues for use in designated areas only.Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and at least 50 feet away from the water.Florida-strain largemouth bass, bluegill, and bullhead. More . Would go again !Gorgeous views, friendly hikers, dogs welcome, and it was a lovely time. In addition to the usual playground and picnic areas to enjoy, there are some nice views to be gained by hiking to the top of a small hill on the southeastern edge of the park.

The trail itself can be completed as a 'lollipop' or it can be connected to other trails in the local network to create an all day epic ride. Fishing is offered on a catch and release (zero kill) basis, with barbless artificial lures only for all species of fish. The trail is primarily singletrack and it pops out onto the dirt/gravel road in a couple spots. Beautiful and well marked.
