Shrek challenges his friends, including Ryan and his team; The Technorganic Empire, to stay at Lord Farquaad's old abandoned castle in Duloc while telling spooky stories to see who is King of Halloween. After running away and pushing her in a big container of batter, he finally becomes free of her, unaware that the batter Sugar was dropped in ended up creating thousands of zombie clones of herself, surrounding Gingy and eating him.

Thriller Night is a 6 minute short film parody of Michael Jackson's music video Thriller. A knight suddenly come to life, scaring Donkey out of the castle saying "Dooooooooooooonkeeeeeeeeeeeyyy!!!!" The last one to be scared Shrekless wins. 2. Next, Donkey and Puss tell a story about them taking shelter from a thunderstorm at the Boots Motel (a parody of the Bates Motel from It turns out that the keeper was Prince Charming and he zaps Puss with his wand to dust, but Puss says he used his sword and leaped to safety, but Donkey says he was standing on an 'X' spot, which Charming pulls a lever to trap Puss, but Puss says he would never let that happen to him, so he says that he woke up, revealing to be all a dream. Puss scurries off while Shrek says it's cheating. After realizing the error in Gingy's story, Shrek rats out Gingy who then leaves to hide his embarrassment. The last one to be scared Shrekless wins. The Wolf is forced to leave as the Pigs are his "ride".
