Hi, There are seaparate lights for the washers and coolant tank but if either level switch goes U/S it can put the others light on.
I was sceptical of this when my coolant light would,nt extinguish, so regardless what i was told i replaced the coolant switch, the light was still on, took the the previously given advice washer bottle switch replaced, and low and behold coolant light out. The nice thing about replacing this sensor is that you do not need to drain the coolant from the tank to perform this job as the coolant does not actually make direct contact with the sensor. See notes below on how to remove oil from the engine if you overfilled it. If the sensor is mechanic (moveable arm or similar)= Then check for a stuck sensor inside the expansion tank.The sensor sticks to the bottom of the expansion tank from outside and is connected electrically by a connector. The Radiator fan works but I don't know if it is working the way it should when you switch on AC.Stick it on STAR and monitor real-time data on the coolant/engine system. With the warning off, loosen a water hose a let a small amount of coolant (about the volume of the expansion tank) drain out ............................. does the warning light now get triggered?
